From May 31 to June 2, the final of the economic and trade logistics practice competition of China University Business Elite Challenge in 2019 was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
Two entries by the students majoring in logistics management in the class of 2016 of our university were selected into this national final. Of the two entries, The Investigation Report on Fresh Products by SF Best in Weiyang District of Xi’an completed by students Wang Along, Wang Fengrui, Zhao Xin, Guo Haoxiang and Liu Yanan won the second national-level prize. The Investigation and Optimization on Green Logistics Transportation of Deppon Express in Yanta District of Xi’an completed by students Song Jiaxin, Dong Xing, Jing Xiao, Li Sheng and Ren Hao won the third national-level prize. In addition, Wang Hexu, Di Chun and Sheng Xiaoli, teachers from School of Business in our university respectively won the title of “excellent national advisers of entrants”.
China University Business Elite Challenge is jointly sponsored by CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) Commercial Sub-Council and CAWD (China Association of Warehousing and Distribution). The economic and trade logistics practice competition of China University Business Elite Challenge in 2019 attracted more than 60 higher learning institutions across the country covering 18 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and autonomous regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Guangxi, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Anhui, Shaanxi, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Fujian and Xinjiang. After layer upon layer of selection, at last, 85 participating teams including nearly 600 advisers and entrants entered into the final.
Students majoring in logistics management in School of Business have participated in this event for five years on end. Through participating in the competition, students are guided to combine the theoretical knowledge learned by them with actual business cases so as to attain the objective of cultivating application-oriented talents.
