On June 1, 16 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and three people from Talent Exchange Center of Qvjiang New Area of Xi’an came to visit our university. Xiao Jianjun, director of Teaching Affairs Office, Xie Junping, dean of School of Foreign Languages as well as 16 students from Xingjian Shuyuan (extracurricular academy) participated in the reception presided over by Xie Junping.
Xiao Jianjun extended his warm welcome to the students of the investigation group and visiting guests and briefly introduced the school-running scale, school-running features and discipline construction of Xijing University. He said that Xijing University is dedicated to cultivating comprehensive application-oriented talents with sound personality, solid basic knowledge and strong professional practice ability. In addition, he said that the Chinese University of Hong Kong is a world-famous university engaged in both humanistic quality education and education of traditional Chinese culture. At the same time, it is also one of the universities with successful education of extra-curricular academies. He hoped that both universities can conduct bilateral exchanges to facilitate the exchange and integration of education between Hong Kong and the main land.
Qin Nan, responsible person of the Operating Center under the Talent Exchange Center of Qvjiang New Area in Xi’an thanked the teachers and students of our university for their warm reception and concisely introduced the summer internship plan of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
At the reception, Luo Xinman, student representative of Xijing University and Gou Xi, student representative of the Chinese University of Hong Kong respectively introduced the situation of their own universities as well as their individual learning situation.
In the company of the students of our university, the visiting students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong visited the 2019 undergraduate graduation exhibition of Xijing University, the university history museum, the ecological greenhouse as well as Puyu dining building.
